All applicants applying for a Year 7 place in September 2020 MUST attend the Assessment Day
Assessment Day: all Applicants (including those who are applying for Performing Arts Places, and girls who are Looked After Children or Previously Looked After Children) who apply to the School must attend the Assessment Day, held at the School on Saturday 9th November 2019. The purpose of the Assessment is to allocate each Applicant to an ability band. The School is a comprehensive school and takes Applicants of all abilities.
Applicants should arrive at the school 15 minutes before their booked time slot. You book your slot on the Supplementary Information Form for entry to Year 7 in September 2020.
There are three slots: 9.00, 10.00 or 11.00 am.
You should expect your daughter to be here for approximately one hour and she should bring with her a pencil, rubber and ruler. All applicants will be given a non verbal reasoning test (20 minutes) and a short English essay to write (20 minutes).
Test results will be shared between The St Marylebone CE School, The Grey Coat Hospital and St Augustine’s CE High School. Your daughter should take only ONE test. Please note if you wish your daughter to sit the test at The Grey Coat Hospital, you will need to have applied for a place at both The Grey Coat Hospital and The St Marylebone CE School.
