We took our lovely Y10s Spanish students, (62 of them!) to the BFI on Thursday the 11th of June. Here is what Myra wrote in Spanish and English!
La semana pasada tuvimos suerte de ir al instituto de BFI. Me chifla el ambiente emocionante y aprendimos a describir y justificar nuestras opiniones de la película. También vimos unos cortometrajes de comedia, triste, e incluso una película de autor. Pero pienso que la mejor fue el largometraje llamado llenos de gracias. En la película, una monja es enviada a un orfanato, inspira a los niños y pronto se convierten en familia. A todos nos encantó porque era una historia emotiva sobre la mayoría de edad, sin embargo, también era hilarante. en realidad también fue una historia real. Para mí fue inolvidable. Me pareció una excursión muy interesante y aprendí más sobre la industria del cine en España. Si tomas espanol o quieres aprender recomiendo ver los medios en español
La visita fue muy divertida y me ayudó a desarrollar mi vocabulario en Español.
Last week, we were lucky to go to the BFI Institute. I love the emotional atmosphere and we learn to describe and justify our opinions of the movie. We also saw some comedy, sad, and even an indie film. But I think the best was the feature film called llenos de gracias. In the movie, a nun sent to the orphanage inspires them and they soon become family. We all loved it because it was an emotional coming-of-age story, but it was also hilarious. Actually, it was also a true story. For me it was unforgettable. I found it a very interesting excursion and I learned more about the film industry in Spain. If you take Spanish or want to learn I recommend watching the media in Spanish
The visit was a lot of fun and helped me develop my vocabulary in spanish.
