I am very proud of all of our Year 7 students who stepped up to Ms Finn’s PSHE challenge of creating ‘careers trees’. This term PSHE has focussed on different careers, skills and qualities. Careers PSHE will be revisited several times throughout the coming academic years.
For this project, students interviewed three to four different family members or friends about their careers, finding out their favourite part of the job, the skills and qualities they need to have and how they got the job! Students then presented their careers tree to their form groups on Monday morning and discussed the types of careers they might want in the future!
