Nearly 10 years ago, On 1st September 2013, The St Marylebone CE Bridge School was opened – our affiliated Special Free School for students with Special Educational Needs in speech, language and communication.
It began in the basement of our Blandford Street site, then grew into temporary accommodation on Third Avenue, W10, while a permanent site was sought. With determined support from Westminster City Council, local stakeholders and the wider education community, a site on Herries Street, Queen’s Park was developed.
Finally, St Marylebone Bridge began this school year there, in new and brilliant facilities, designed to support and meet the needs of the children aged 11 to 16 who attend there, from local and neighbouring London boroughs.
