St Marylebone Messenger

Our school magazine is a cornucopia of student articles on topical issues, accounts of school trips and events. Poetry, stories and a wealth of artwork also enhance the pages. Edited and produced by a team of Year 12 and Year 10 students, the magazine gives an opportunity for learning valuable skills for future jobs in media and design. It also gives them an opportunity to work collaboratively across year groups.

NewsTues

NewsTues is a student-led newspaper – produced and written by students in St Marylebone School. The paper offers students the opportunity to develop their journalistic skills, while also allowing them a platform to express their views on a variety of issues, ranging from history and politics to the arts. In this way, NewsTues plays an important role in bringing our school community together to discuss the events and debates of the day, as well as raising student awareness of events occurring from around the world which affect them.

SMSpeaks

SMSpeaks is St Marylebone School’s Podcast. It is written, recorded and edited by the music technology students in Y12 and Y13. It offers students the chance to learn how to write, produce and release media online and gives students across the school the opportunity to share their thoughts and opinions. The podcast creates an important platform for students to speak and helps to raise the profile of the school community online.
