Year 13 student, Tanisha, has been set on a legal career. She made a University application and received 2 offers however, what she really wanted was a Legal Level 7 Apprenticeship. She made 9 applications all of which took time and energy as they were all a little bit different. She made it to the interview and assessment stage with some but felt so disappointed when she didn’t secure an offer from any but she thanked them anyway. We discussed an alternative stepping stone into the legal profession – entering as a Level 3 Apprentice to get her foot in the door.
Tanisha immediately found a vacancy which said that progression would be to the full Legal Apprenticeship. However, just as she was about to apply, one of the original Legal Apprenticeships called her to say that the successful applicant had pulled out and they were offering the place to her instead!
Tanisha will start her legal career with Norton Rose Fulbright, a global law company. We are all very proud of her.
