St Marylebone Parish Church was presented with the prestigious Church of the Year Award by the National Churches Trust. This accolade celebrates the central role that St Marylebone Parish Church plays as a place of worship, somewhere that really celebrates its rich cultural history, and in sustaining and nurturing community.
As one of the five nominees for this award, we are thrilled to have been recognised for our commitment to making our parish church an open and welcoming place for the public and providing outstanding service to visitors, worshippers, and the wider community.
We are delighted that so much hard work undertaken over the past 11 years has been recognised by
these two awards from the National Churches Trust. St Marylebone tries to be a place for everyone,
open 365 days a year and the heart of the central London community which bears its name.

The National Churches Awards, organised by the National Churches Trust, champion the innovative
ways that churches can use their buildings to the benefit of all and make a significant contribution to
local communities. These awards recognise the active role churches play in their communities to bring
people together and help them thrive.
