Well done to Leyya and Marlena for your excellent leadership of the KS3 debating club, for getting stuck into every opportunity and for your dynamic and enthusiastic approach to everything. You have done so well, and been amazing ambassadors for the school through debating and MUN. Well done for being the instigators behind MUN and for your incredible work at the MUN conference.
Well done to Lolabelle, Talia, Nikoo, Helene, Mekdu and Megan for your amazing debating skills and diplomacy during the MUN conference. You came up with excellent resolutions and ideas for creatively solving global issues. You showed resilience and enthusiasm throughout the conference and took your committees by storm. Well done especially to Lolabelle who stepped up to represent Egypt at the last minute and to Talia and Marlene who invested so much in ensuring that there was a viable resolution for their committee.
Big thank you to Mr V for organising all of the debating competitions and ensuring that all our students have so many opportunities! It is an incredible feat of the administration to make this all happen and he does so willingly and cheerfully.
Big thank you to Ms McAndrew for leading debating trips and attending Model United Nations conferences and supporting students at these events. She has given up a lot of her time to help out with both IR Club and Debating!
