Five determined Year 13 students enjoyed an overnight trip to Jesus College, Cambridge. We were hosted by an enthusiastic group of student ambassadors, well fed in the ancient vaulted dining room and everyone’s brains hurt by the end of the second day with the amount of information!
Professors and Lecturers spent time explaining what they are really looking for in an applicant, how to manage the various supplementary tests and interviews and this knowledge is useful wherever these students choose to apply.
We were part of a group of 5 schools and it’s always good to hear the questions and opinions of our peers; and make new friendships of course. Our students were, as ever, a pleasure to accompany.
